The first NOTUS Vivere emergency invasive ventilator has been produced at the Planet Innovation manufacturing facility.
Supported by the Australian Government, the Victorian Government and the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre, the program kicked off in early April and involves an Australian consortium manufacturing a Smiths Medical certified ventilator design to help fight the coronavirus pandemic by boosting the stockpiles of lifesaving medical equipment.
2,000 ventilators are scheduled for delivery to the Federal Health Department by the end of July.
