Planet Innovation has joined the judging panel for the AFR’s Most Innovative Companies list after dominating the awards for the past six years.
Co-CEO Stuart Elliott is among a panel of industry experts who assessed submissions for the 2018 awards, which are administered by innovation consultancy Inventium.
When rating entries, Stuart was asked to consider the uniqueness of the idea, how well it addressed the problem it was solving, and the impact it has made.
Stuart said: “After a successful run as a Most Innovative entrant, it was fascinating to be on the other side as a judge. The awards program has been a huge help to PI over the years and we are keen to support other companies on their journey.”
PI has had great success at the Most Innovative awards over the past six years, being the only company to take out the top spot three times. We won Most Innovative Company in 2016, 2015 and 2013, and placed 2nd in 2017, 3rd in 2014 and 8th in 2012. PI has also won numerous other awards in the competition, including Best Innovation Program in 2017 and Most Consistently Innovative Company in 2016.
The 2018 list will be published in the Australian Financial Review on Tuesday 31 July.
