Experienced medtech executive Sue MacLeman appointed to PI Board

Sue MacLeman, an experienced and respected leader in Australia’s medtech industry, has been appointed to the Planet Innovation (PI) Board as a non-executive director.

Sue has more than 30 years’ experience as a pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical technology executive having served as CEO and Board member of several ASX and NASDAQ listed companies in the healthtech sector.

She is current Chair of MTPConnect, a not-for-profit industry growth centre for the medtech, biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. She is also Chair of ASX-listed Anatara Lifesciences Ltd, Tali Digital Ltd and Oventus Medical Ltd, and a non-executive director of Palla Pharma Ltd and veski.

In addition to her board memberships, Sue is appointed to several academic and government advisory boards including the Prime Minister’s Digital Expert Advisory Board, CSIRO Health and Biosecurity Advisory Committee, Genomics Health Futures Mission Expert Advisory Committee (MRFF) and a number of COVID-19 taskforces.

Sue said she was delighted to join the PI board after having followed the company since its inception.
