The American Chamber of Commerce has recognized Planet Innovation’s significant contribution to U.S.-Australia trade and industry leadership by naming PI’s Co-Founder and CEO, Stuart Elliott, a finalist in their 2025 Ambassador’s Award.
PI signed its first U.S. customer in 2009, the year it was formed, and since then it has generated close to $1 billion in trade with the majority being between Australia and the U.S.
Over the past 12 months alone, PI has generated over $75 million in trade between Australia and the U.S. by delivering world-class innovation and manufacturing services through its facilities in both countries. PI has supported U.S. medical companies in developing and launching market-leading products, while creating jobs for Australians and Americans at its facilities in Box Hill, Victoria and Irvine, California. These milestones signify the successful economic impact Stuart has fostered through his deep relationships with Australia and the U.S.

The AmCham Alliance Awards were inaugurated in 2021 to identify the pathfinders in the industries that will shape the future economic collaboration between Australia and the United States.
